WSF/Siemens Marine

Jumbo Mark II Class Ferries: 3 vessels

Systems:

These diesel electric class vessels were built with new Siemens electrical equipment: Alarm and Monitoring Systems, Propulsion Control Systems, Propulsion AC Drives and Generator Control Systems (including Power Management System and Woodward digital controls) Auxiliary Machinery Controls. The Siemens S5 fully redundant 155H PLC-based system was designed for high fault tolerance and no single point failures.
